St. Clements Church

Grade II Listed

Built between 1877 and 1878 using red brick and terracotta it was designed by the Lancaster Architects Paley and Austin and is now listed as a Grade II building.

Aura Conservation were contracted to carry out various works consisting of brickwork re-pointing, re-building of brickwork, a large section of re-roofing works, replacement rainwater goods and lead work renewal all made possible due to HLF and English Heritage funding. The church restoration was completed within five months.
